I have always seen university as a great place to push myself out of my comfort zone and meet new people along the way. This has led me to lead UNSW’s largest society, participate in law and business-related competitions and continually support our communities through volunteering engagements. Beyond the core leadership and analytical skills these personal opportunities have allowed me to develop, my experience as a clerk at a multinational law firm has enabled me to grow professionally. I am excited to continue my professional and personal growth through all the exciting opportunities in the legal industry.

I actively seek to explore as many opportunities as possible and UNSW has offered them - from memories of leading Yellow Shirts to welcome students at O-Week, to offering tech solutions to non-profits at 180 Degree Consulting. These all have grown my interest in technology and have spurred me to work at Schneider Electric, DiviPay (fintech startup) and KPMG Digital Delta. I have also enjoyed being able to impact a large community through my 3 years in the Business Society, and I believe that technology is the medium that will enable me to continue doing so in the future.

My initial interest unironically came from learning about tech buzzwords that are apparently disliked and overused in the industry. However, landing my first internship at SAP soon changed the way I thought about technology. I became immersed with the endless opportunities where I can facilitate the deployment of technology to improve businesses and change lives. More importantly, I learnt how people and their relationships with the world around them actually drive the technology of tomorrow.
