I always thought I would end up becoming an engineer. I did three sciences in high school and pursued engineering because I had the hunger to understand how things work and why they work the way they do. It was not until I took my first class, I had realised finance was more than policies. It was about understanding the constantly changing world. It was understanding how people interpreted these events and the implications on our lives. The most enjoyable aspect of finance is that it has both the technical and people focus, which really challenges you to become well-rounded.
